Stephen Goodger

Chief Executive Officer

 

Stephen is from a Central Otago farming family and has 25 years’ experience in senior management roles in New Zealand’s largest companies including Fonterra, PG Wrightsons and DB Breweries and has vast experience in agriculture, technology, e-commerce, and consulting in Australasia, Asia and Europe.

Stephen worked with My Farmer World from 2016, becoming CEO in February 2017.

After recognising the potential in My Farmer World’s complete farming solutions, team, and great customers he is leading us into our next phase of growth.

​

 Prior to joining My Farmer World, he was leading operations for the Fonterra Shareholders’ Council, advocating on behalf of farmers and saw how hard farmers were being pushed to make substantial changes to their farm operations and compliance without being given the tools to achieve those changes.

​

When he learned about My Farmer Worlds model that enables farmers to change the way they farm while improving profitability, animal health and the health of the environment and those living on the farm he recognised that he could better help farmers by ensuring they had access to My farmer World and its soil to sale farming model.

​

Stephen also has extensive governance knowledge and broad connections in multiple industries. Stephen is passionate about My Farmer World enabling better ecological and profitable farming practice.
